**Catherine Beban** (née **McDonald**; about 1848 – 13 December 1916) was a Scottish-born settler on New Zealand's West Coast. Born at Loch Broom in Ross-shire, she married **[[people:stephan_beban|Stephan Beban]]** at Hokitika in 1867 and raised eleven children in Westland.
